Industrial aluminum profiles are a type of aluminum extruded profiles with different cross-sections, which are formed by melting aluminum rods and then extruding them through molds. They are often used in various production fields of many industries. They have the characteristics of easy handling of quality, modular aluminum component connections, no need for welding, and convenient disassembly and assembly. Industrial aluminum profiles can be simply processed before assembly, saving time and effort, and can help enterprises reduce production costs. So, what are the general processing methods for industrial aluminum profiles? The editor of Miao Aluminum, a manufacturer of aluminum products, has briefly summarized the following points for your reference!
Industrial aluminum profile processing method:
1. Cutting: Each piece of industrial aluminum profile is 6 meters long. Before use, the profiles need to be cut to the required length. Aluminum profile cutting includes length cutting and angle cutting. The length can usually be cut as desired. Common angle cuts include 45-degree angle cutting and special angle cutting, etc. To ensure a high surface finish of the aluminum profile and avoid any burrs or secondary processing, professional aluminum profile cutting saws combined with professional circular saw blades are generally used to process high-density hard aluminum alloy aluminum profiles.
2. Drilling: Drilling refers to drilling holes on the surface of the profile to install industrial holes. The position of the holes needs to be determined based on the different sizes of industrial aluminum profiles and drilled at the specified locations. Industrial holes typically include through holes, countersunk holes, blind holes, and installation holes, and the position accuracy and depth of the holes need to be strictly controlled.
3. Thread Drilling: Thread drilling refers to the process of drilling a screw at the center of the end face of the aluminum profiles that need to be connected. This operation requires the use of the selected installation bolts as a reference to determine the drill bit size. The thread size for the moving foot wheels of the aluminum profile footings at the lower end of the aluminum profiles is to be determined. Thread drilling includes end face thread drilling and drilling thread drilling.
4. Finishing: Finishing usually involves various precision machining services such as hole milling, slot milling, face milling, and end milling. It can generally be accomplished in conjunction with CNC numerical control and other processing equipment.
